My sauerkraut volcano at the county fair demo

Was doing a live fermentation demo at the Johnson County Fair last summer. Had a big glass jar of cabbage on stage. Forgot to burp it for two days in the heat. Thing erupted like a science project. Got kraut juice all over my nice shirt and the table. Anyone else have a public demo go sideways?
