Why does nobody mention the jar explosion risk from skipped burping?
I've seen three ferment jars burst this month because folks aren't burping them daily.

What if daily burping isn't the only way to stop explosions? Using an airlock can handle the gas build up safely. It sounds like those jars might have been sealed too tight from the start.
