Overheard a guy at the coffee shop say he saw the exact same license plate number on two different cars, in the same parking lot, 20 minutes apart.

Wow, @terryscott, that reminds me of the time I saw two nearly identical red trucks with "BETRBLT" plates!

My buddy Mike had something like that happen last year at the mall in Springfield. He swore he saw the same blue sedan with the plate "GR8TFL" parked outside the food court, then saw it again an hour later by the movie theater. He was so sure he took pictures with his phone. Turns out it was just two different cars from the same custom plate company, one had a zero instead of the letter O. It messed with his head for a week.
