Balcony fitness is taking over my apartment building
I live in a big apartment complex. Lately, I see folks doing push-ups and squats on their balconies every day. It all began when our community gym shut down last month. I joined in and now my routine is solid. Kind of cool how we all motivate each other from afar.

Last year, our building's laundry room turned into a mini gym for planks. You'd see people holding a plank next to the dryers, and it just caught on. It's funny how these things start without any real plan, lmao.

That "motivate each other from afar" thing is real. It reminds me of when my old office job had everyone secretly doing chair squats during video calls (you know, camera off). It just spreads without anyone planning it.

Actually the chair squat trend at my old job was with cameras ON, just pretending to sit normal. That's why it worked, seeing everyone's tiny movements. It still spread like crazy though.
