inBought a $400 glass cutting wheel and it's been a total game changer for my shower door jobs
Yeah that "paid for itself fast" thing is real. My buddy in the trade finally got a proper track saw after fighting with a circular saw for years. He said the first kitchen install with it felt like cheating, the cuts were so perfect.

inPSA: I found a way to get perfect headbands on cheap cloth without any fraying
Oh man, my friend actually used it to fix a wobbly table leg last week. Worked like a charm.

inQuestion about a runaway skid steer in a tight spot
Had a combine do that once. The return spring on the pedal assembly snapped and the throttle plate just stuck wide open. Check the spring tension when you get a chance, it's a five minute look.

inWhy does nobody talk about how long it takes to get a password manager set up right?
I read a tech blog that called the setup process "the password manager tax" because of the hidden time cost. My own state's DMV website was the one that broke everything for me, it uses some weird security field that just won't talk to the auto-fill. I had to make a really long, crazy password and just save it as a note inside the manager to copy-paste... it totally defeated the point for a while. That initial hump is real, but once you're over it, it does get easier.

inA guy at the Spokane woodworking show told me my drawer slide method was wrong, and he was right.
Yeah, "now I know for next time" is my life motto at this point lol. I'm basically a professional mistake maker.
