Vent: I just wasted $40 on a 'premium' coffee subscription that sent me beans I could get at the grocery store.

I mean, the debate is whether these curated services are worth it for discovery or if they're just overpriced middlemen, so has anyone else found a subscription that actually sends unique stuff?

My local roaster's subscription has some wild single-origin beans.

Those single-origin subscriptions are a great way to try new stuff, @lewis.brian. My favorite was a weirdly fruity bean from Rwanda last month.
