Skeptical about that in-home care agency, but they proved me wrong

I was really unsure about hiring Visiting Angels for my mom after a neighbor had a bad experience with a different company. But after 6 months with them, her regular aide has been fantastic and even caught a medication error the pharmacy made last Tuesday. Has anyone else had a similar experience where a service you doubted ended up being way better than expected?

Respectfully, I see it different. One good aide doesn't make up for a whole company. My uncle used them for two years and went through seven different aides. Constant turnover, missed visits, new people showing up who didn't know his routine. Called the office multiple times. Got the runaround every time. Happy for your mom but that's not the norm across the board.

lol @wright.leo seven aides in two years? That's not a care plan, that's a revolving door with a side of chaos. Sounds like they're running a tryout camp instead of providing actual help.
