Just realized how much smoother hydraulic controls are than the old levers.

Operating feels less like a workout and more like driving now.

Ugh why would you ever go back? Hydraulics just spoil you for good.

That comparison to a clunky truck really hits home for me now. I used to swear by manual controls because I thought they made you a better operator. But after using hydraulics for a week, I could NEVER go back. Like @noahsanchez said, it just feels so much easier and more exact. Everything is more controlled and way less tiring. It's one of those upgrades that seems small but makes a HUGE difference in your day.

Wait, you only used hydraulics for a WEEK and you're already that sure? That's crazy fast to change your mind.

Have you tried switching back to manual controls after using hydraulics for a while? I made that mistake once and it was a REAL shock. My arms were sore for days because I forgot how much force those old levers need. Hydraulics just make everything feel so easy and precise. It's like going from a clunky old truck to a smooth sedan.

Forget feeling spoiled like @taylor501 says, you just get soft. I ran manual for fifteen years and my hands knew every shake in the machine, you could feel a problem coming through the stick. Hydraulics put a pillow between you and the work, it's all smooth but you lose that direct link. Sure your arms don't ache, but you trade muscle for a numb feeling that makes you sloppy. I'll take the soreness and the real control any day.
