inTalking to a nervous horse actually helped me finish faster
Seems a bit overhyped, maybe? Not sure it's that deep.

inShowerthought: Local vineyard's tasting notes seem copied from a textbook.
Totally get that, I used to roll my eyes at those notes. But one time the "hints of black cherry" actually lined up for me and it kinda changed my mind.

inTIL waiting to book certain train tickets until the last minute can actually pay off
You say prices shoot up right before departure, but my experience has been different. I booked a flight to Chicago last September just three days out and paid less than the early bird rates. Same thing happened with a Thanksgiving trip where I waited until the Tuesday before. It really depends on the route and how often you check. Being flexible with your travel times is the biggest help.

inA stranger got angry at me for taking a picture of a building
Honestly used to think people were overreacting about pictures too. Then a security guard followed me out of a library for taking a photo of the cool old stonework. His whole vibe was like I was planning a crime, not admiring architecture. It really showed me how it feels from the other side now.

inThinking about how meditation guides have changed, I honestly MISS the awkward pauses and background noise in old tapes.
Totally get that. All that perfect silence feels fake. The old weird stuff was way more human.
