Totally, vise issues are sneaky. Good thing you checked it.

inNavigating by landmark memory saved us when tech failed last hike
@jenkins.elizabeth is right about that 'zero clue' thing, it's SCARY how lost you can get. My own dumb moment was following a dotted line on my phone right into a thicket I had to crawl out of. Now I always pick out a couple of obvious landmarks as my mental safety net.

inUnpopular opinion: Organizing mail doesn't need fancy bins
After the Sunday sort, I take it one step further with three basic folders from the dollar store. Bills go in red, coupons in blue, and anything needing a longer look gets a yellow folder. When the red folder gets thick, I know it's bill paying time. The blue one gets cleaned out when I go grocery shopping. It turns that box of papers into actual action steps without any complicated system.

inSerious question, has ditching my old stacking method cleared up anyone else's noise issues?
That noise cut sounds amazing! Did you find the default sigma settings worked right away for keeping detail, or did you have to play with them like Derek mentioned? I'm always worried about smoothing out the faint stuff.
